What exactly is wedding videography
It's a posh name for what most people call a "wedding video" or "wedding film". It's the filming of your wedding or civil partnership using video cameras so that you can have a stylish keepsake film of everything that happened on your big day.

Do you film other events apart from weddings?
Yes. Please visit the Other Filming part of the website for more information.

What equipment do you use?
All of our packages use two Sony high definition digital video recording cameras as standard. The equipment we use is also used by the likes of the BBC. For more information click here.

How many videographers will be attending my day?
Two. Marcus and Adam will be attending your wedding or civil partnership to capture the day on film. We don't outsource, it will always be the same two professional videographers at your big day.

What "Style" Do You Film In?
We film in a contemporary documentary style. We record your day discreetly in a relaxed and natural method.

How long will the final edited film be?
We do not have a set time to which the film must fall into, but on average most films run somewhere between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes.

How long will the editing take?
The editing process can take up to eight weeks at our busiest times. We aim to have your film with you as soon as possible. You can check the status of your film at anytime by contacting us.

Do we need to meet with you?
It's suggested. We would like to meet and and have a brief informal chat before your event.

Are there any rules or regulations we have to follow?
All projects need to a Wedding Video Licence to comply with music copyright law. Also it's a good idea to check about filming rules where your event is taking place, as some venues may have regulations about filming.

Do we need to wear microphones?
Our equipment has professional additional mics already, so your audio will be great regardless. If you do want to wear a mic we have a set of lapel microphones that can be provided at no extra cost.

What will you be wearing on the day?
We will blend in with your guests. We will be wearing a shirt and trousers (suits are a touch restrictive when filming)!

Where in the UK do you cover?
Everywhere. We are based in Bristol but we cover the entire UK. Minimal travel costs will be added for those events that take place further than 50 miles from Bristol. Contact us to check rates.

Will you require food and drink?
For filming that includes the first dance onwards we kindly ask for some food to be provided.

Do you allow guests at my event to use their own video equipment?
Absolutely!

Are you a part of any videography groups?
No, we're not. We made the decision not to join any videographer groups. This is because they didn't accept membership based on talent, it was based on how much was paid - which seemed a little pointless to us!

Can I see a sample of your work?
We have some demos online and if you would like to receive a free no obligation promotional media pack of the work we do click here.

Do I need a videographer for my wedding / civil partnership?
We're a little biased, but we think it's a great idea! DVDs are a great way to look back on one of the biggest days of your life. We film the day very naturally and inobtrusively so if you're camera shy, dont panic! Check out our client testimonials to see what some previously skeptical clients have had to say.

Do you have insurance?
We have insurance which covers all of our equipment when we are shooting an event. On top of this we also have public liability insurance up to £2,000,000.

Have you won any awards?
Yes we have. We were a finalist in the National WRA Wedding Videographer of the Year 2008. We have also won a wedding website gold award.

Do you do blu-ray videography or high definition films?
We do! We offer a blu-ray version of all films we produce. Blu-Ray is now the standard in high definition films and it will make your wedding or civil partnership DVD look great! For more information click here.
